- Length: measure your wrist and add 1 cm for the best fit. Be precise with the measurement as there is no extension chain.
Width: approx. 1.5 cm

About 50 cm of tail hair, approximately as thick as a felt-tip pen, is needed. Cut small tufts from a few different spots under the dock of the tail to get the full length without it being noticeable on the horse. It must be tail hair; the mane is too soft.
You do not need to wash the hair beforehand; I always wash it with soap.
